Director Statement

Artist and security guard is two occupation adversely to each other. The former is arising our curiosity of daily life through overturning the rules of mind. The latter has to prevent every potential risk from realisation, without any distraction. To the artist, security is boring, however, artist is dangerous to security. In the daily life, we seem to be reliable on a dogmatic and a cynical side.  Security guard is a up-rising labour market, the number is inclining year by year. More and more space need to be managed, be monitored, be protected, why Hong Kong becomes a security city? Security industry no doubt deals with complicated issue, but I am concerned on their state of mind. I hope to reactivate their suppressed imagination through the expression of cinema. It is a mimic moment to release the mind from the power of discipline, and we can look at reality freely.
